When I play TT my Parkinson’s disappears.

I can hardly eat breakfast… but I can hit a ball at speed
I couldn’t play any other sport… enjoying [TT] so much… [I] can play 3.5 hours without stop, and had amazing energy… I could walk straighter afterwards

It really is amazing how well he can still play considering the difficulties he has with doing practically everything else. It’s like a little part of his brain (the table tennis part) is completely unaffected!
We’re really keen to keep Dad playing [TT] regularly as it’s something that he can still do and be good at which is so beneficial for his self esteem as well as the physical benefits!

Caution: table tennis is not a cure-all, nor likely to affect everyone in the same way. My intention is that these quotes will give some hope and encouragement that it, or other sports and activities, are possible to make a positive contribution to your life in some small way.
I shall continue to add to this list as the collection grows. Please share any which resonate for you.
